What are the requirements for the Executive MBA course? Can a person without expertise in economy get through the programme?
Knowledge of economy is not required. Due to the fact that the EMBA programme is dedicated to people of different lines of work, we do not favour any profession over another. Therefore, we welcome candidates of both humanities and scientific preferences. The diversity of our students’ backgrounds allows them to exchange a variety of professional experiences. This contributes to the added value of the EMBA.
How many years of professional experience should a candidate for the MBA course have?
Candidates who have a Master’s degree are required to have at least 3 years of documented professional experience before starting the MBA programme. However, candidates who have a Bachelor’s degree should have at least 5 years of documented professional experience.
In some circumstances, the Examination Board may consider reducing the amount of experience required.
Is taking an English entrance examination obligatory for candidates who have graduated in English from a foreign university or those holding a Cambridge English certificate?
Exemption from the exam is possible for candidates who provide either a certificate of passing standardised exam (such as TOEFL, Cambridge or LCCI) or a diploma in English philology or any other subject graduated in English.
What does the cooperation with the Schools that founded WUT Business School look like?
WUT Business School cooperates with tutors from London Business School, HEC Paris and NHH Norwegian School of Economics. Some of the tutors teach at WUT Business School on a regular basis, for example Professor Andrea Masini from HEC Paris and Alastair Nicholson from LBS. Also, the representatives of those schools are members of the WUT Business School Founders Council which has the advisory and evaluation function when it comes to the School’s development strategy and curriculums, especially the MBA’s programmes’ curricula. In addition, the Founders Council leaves the signature on the Executive MBA diploma.
Are all the classes conducted in English?
Yes, during the Executive MBA course, all the classes are in English.
Does the School provide learning materials? Are their costs included in the course fee?
Yes, the students are granted access to a special on-line platform where all the necessary resources can be found. The programme’s coordinator will distribute the needed materials before the classes. Also, the library offers a course book on every subject for every student. The didactic materials are free of charge.
