LEADING INTO THE FUTURE
Tomasz Cichocki
Having a degree in economics and international qualifications in finance and accounting, I was wondering whether MBA programme at the Warsaw University of Technology Business School are able to offer me something new. It turned it is. Studies allowed me to organize and deepen my knowledge, as well as focus on its practical application in real business situations.- Return to the basics. Asking simple questions would seem to be about business problems and looking for original solutions.
- Decision-making. This is not about NPV calculation or company value calculation. The knowledge acquired during these studies allows us to look at a given issue from many perspectives and make a decision regarding involvement in a risky undertaking.
- Perseverance. Two-year studies with such a rich program (752 hours) require perseverance, dedication and motivation. This is not only work on weekends, but also preparation for lectures, problems to be solved and exams.
- People. Great lecturers and excellent colleagues from various industries and various business experiences. Group work is one of the most important aspects of this study. The study program, created in cooperation with the best European business schools, is a perfect combination of theory and practice, lectures and case studies presented by renowned academicians and successful professional managers. Importantly, the classes are conducted entirely in English. I am sure that I will return many times to the topics discussed during this program and that the acquired knowledge will significantly help me in the further stages of my professional career.
