Professional experience:
Dr. Grazyna Rembielak is a full time Assistant Professor in Marketing in Warsaw University of Technology Business School, teaching mainly MBA and EMBA students. She has rich international experience, working for the last 10 years in the UK as a full time Senior Lecturer in Marketing and collaborating with other European Universities as a Visiting Professor and international expert in Marketing in terms of research, and enterprise. She is leading and supervising enterprise MBA and EMBA Projects, working closely with industry and with colleagues from other European institutions, such as London Business School, UK, and Central European University Business School in Budapest, Hungary, which result in preparing proposals for improvements for various sectors of industry.
Despite her extensive experience in academic teaching, Dr. Rembielak is proficient in University Programmes design and development, performing managerial roles in the field of marketing, student recruitment and admissions, as well as Programmes management with particular attention to quality assurance and innovative teaching and assessment methods implementation. She has experience in leading and taking part in accreditation teams for national and global accreditations, internal system of quality assurance and development, as well as staff, PhD, MSc and BSc students’ supervision and development. Currently she is a Head of New Programmes Development and Director of Total Design Management Postgraduate Programme in Warsaw University of Technology Business School.
Dr. Grazyna Rembielak uses her extensive practical marketing experience in her research. So far she has taken part in several national and international research bids, which resulted in a number of publications and conference participation in highly ranked international conferences in the European countries, and in the USA. Her research interests include Marketing, especially in the area of Consumer Behaviour in the context of Higher Education. Currently she is working on students’ expectations, motivation, Decision Making Process, satisfaction, and loyalty. She has also carried and is presently carrying out review work for a number of highly ranked international journals and is a member of editorial boards for some journals and conferences. She has also successfully promoted a few PhD students in the field of Marketing, and currently is a PhD supervisor for three students in the University of Salford, Manchester, UK.
She is internationally and nationally known in the area of Consumer Behaviour, Relationship Marketing in the Higher Education Sector, and Experiential Marketing, acting as an expert and advisor in the field of Marketing and Management for Higher Education institutions, organisations, various bodies, and individual customers, for example she performs following functions:
- Expert in the Mazovian Centre of Dialogue and Participation of Business Circles
- International Expert for Project UDA-POKL.04.01.01-00-073 / 13-00 Teaching excellence at Warsaw University of Life Sciences in the field of bio-economy and the creation of professional qualification „Junior Quality Manager”
- Member of Editorial Advisory Board of Financial Management and Accounting Journal of Warsaw University of Life Science Press, Poland.
- Member of Editorial Board of Serbian Journal of Management, Serbia.
- Reviewer for the Journal of The International Journal of Business and Globalisation JIBG, UK.
- Reviewer for the Journal of Marketing for Higher Education, UK.
